Financial Gift Opportunities
With the support of donors like you, Catholic Social Service is able to provide services that make a vital difference for the people and communities of southwest Kansas.
Because of you, we are able to walk with teen parents, helping them to make good decisions for themselves and their children. We support willing and courageous parents who have given their "fiat" to love children needing a good home. And we provide education, counseling and financial assistance for individuals, couples, and families who struggle to overcome cycles of addiction and economic hardship.
We couldn't do this without you! Your financial support enables us to share God's Word and Love with children, women, men and families, of every faith and creed, who struggle in the midst of crisis. We extend our deepest gratitude to you for your ongoing support. Please choose from the gift giving opportunities listed below.

Honor and Memorial Gifts
Say thank you, remember an important person in your life, or celebrate special occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, and holidays by making a gift to Catholic Social Service in that person's name. You can also make a memorial gift in the name of a deceased person; remembering those who have touched your life in a special way can comfort and console loved ones while also helping others to succeed in their life. Catholic Social Service will send a card or letter on your behalf to the honoree or to the deceased person's family. The notification will not include the amount of your gift. As a donor, you will receive a separate acknowledgment of your charitable donation for your own records.
Planned Giving Program
With a planned gift to Catholic Social Service, you leave a legacy of help and hope for those in need, and long-term stability for the agency and it's Gospel mission. Here are some of the ways you can leave a planned gift for Catholic Social Service:
- Include Catholic Social Service in your will or trust. Estate planning is a reflection of what is important to you, and there are several options for including Catholic Social Service in your estate. For example, you can specify that Catholic Social Service receive (1) a specific dollar amount; (2) certain properties such as stocks, securities, commodities, real estate, art work, livestock, or antiques; or (3) a percentage of the total value of your estate, or the residue of your estate. For more information about how you can remember Catholic Social Service in your estate planning, contact your legal counsel and/or tax consultant, or call Catholic Social Service at 1-800-794-9756.
- Include Catholic Social Service as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(K), or life insurance policy. Request a beneficiary designation form from your plan administrator. When you complete the form, simply name Catholic Social Service as a full or partial beneficiary. You will need the Catholic Social Service tax identification number, which can be provided upon request.
- Allow Catholic Social Service to purchase a life insurance policy in your name with the agency as a beneficiary. This planned giving opportunity is available at certain times rather than in an on-going basis. For more information, contact Catholic Social Service at 1-800-794-9756.
