Endowment - Future Fund
Catholic Social Service Endowment
Our endowment ensures that we will continue to help those in need and work within the community. Gifts to the endowment are restricted and will be invested, with the earnings (interest) used to continue Catholic Social Service programs.
Endowment Building Project
Another way to help build the Catholic Social Service is by allowing Catholic Social Service to purchase a life insurance policy in your name with the agency as a beneficiary. This project will help provide the agency with financial support to grow the mission as well as long term stability by building the Endowment.
Fund raising events
As an opportunity to get together with friends and support Catholic Social Service we host fund raising events around the diocese to benefit the programs of the agency. Click here to find out more about the Charity Wine Tasting and Benefit Auction that is held in Great Bend each spring. We will continue to develop similar events in other communities.
Estate bequests
You can include Catholic Social Service in your will. For more information, please contact your legal counsel, tax consultant or call Catholic Social Service at 1-800-794-9756.
Cash gifts
Contributions can be given to the Endowment or to Catholic Social Service for operations. The annual Year End Appeal is a way to make a gift on a regular basis.
Non-cash gifts
Gifts such as real estate, securities, art, antiques, livestock, and commodities are very acceptable. Your tax advisors should be contacted for details on the advantages of giving non-cash gifts. Small gifts like diapers and baby clothes to support our clients are also appreciated.
Tax deductible contributions
Catholic Social Service is a non-profit charitable 501 C3 organization. All gifts to Catholic Social Service or to the Catholic Social Service Endowment are tax deductible in accordance with I.R.S. regulations.
