It's been more than a month since the Annual Catholic Social Service Wine Tasting event and I'm still putting things away! As I do, I have been pleased by the number of people who have, unsolicited,  returned the basket from their winning auction item. The returned baskets are a real blessing since baskets are one of our major expenses for both the silent and live auction. Bottles of wine are another one of our major expense items. After all, it is a wine tasting, and a wine tasting theme.

It's occurred to me that if I start talking about this now, you all might be able to easily help us out with these two items!

Here's my proposal: sometime between now and next March 2012, please consider donating just one large basket, or just one nice bottle of wine (of your choice!) for Catholic Social Service. Also, do you have some nice baskets sitting around taking up your space and gathering dust? We'll gladly take them off your hands!
