The Homeowner Repair and Rehabilitation Program (HRR) Application is for individuals on Social Security and other fixed incomes who cannot afford the upkeep on a home that they own and occupy. With the help of donations and volunteers, Interfaith Housing Services makes repairs on homes in the counties they serve. Priority is given to households where the repairs would (1) prevent homelessness due to the condition of the house; (2) eliminate health and life safety hazards in homes with children and elders; (3) make homes accessible and usable for persons with special needs such as physical disabilities. To apply, individuals must meet certain income guidelines and include proof of income, ownership, current taxes.
